GOD, THE WORD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. Part 1

[Acts 5:3-11 3. But Peter said, Ananias, why has satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the proceeds of the land? 4. While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? How is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God. 5. When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and died. And great fear came upon all who heard of it. 6. They young men rose and wrapped him up and carried him out and buried him. 7. After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8. And Peter said to her, Tell me whether you sold the land for so much. And she said, Yes, for so much. 9. But Peter said to her, How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the LORD? Hark, the feet of those that have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out. 10. Immediately she fell down at his feet and died. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11. And great fear came upon the whole Church, and upon all who heard of these things.]
Peter used an expression that today we fail to understand Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why has satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit........ couple of time many people read those verses '1-11' but still fail to understand. To me he- Peter wasn't the one who made the statement- expression, rather it was the Holy Spirit who did through him.
Today instead of the Word of God to fill our heart, it is satan that is dwelling in the lives of many. This has made satan to be excited, exulting that he has seized many from their Creator, joy, blessings and mostly the WORD that gives Eternal Life.
See, it is either the Word of God fills your heart or allowing satan sin to fill your heart up. When we have the Word of God, we would see ourselves clearly and our lives would be transformed. The Word of God is like mirror reflecting and showing us what our lives looks like.
If one does not having a good heart to God's Word, he/she won't be able o get Home- the Glorious Home and he/she will be wandering around in sin and violating the Holy Spirit while still on earth because the person had not allow in or invoke the Word of God to dwell in him/her.
The moment you have the Word of God, you will be hearing from God day after day and God will be happy with you because you have His Word. Do you know what it means for God to be happy with someon? You see, the person God is happy with will never stop seeing so witnessing the presence of God.
Many congregation are established today without the back up from God, without the concept and words from God rather are founded to steal from people and claim they have a message from God for them. Their plans and principles and messages might satisfy those who attend those kind of congregation but not satisfying the LORD. What is God saying about you and I? We need to have much concern on where we are journeying to and not interested in today only. We are sojourners on earth and our home is above but it is a pity how many keeping forgetting that they would depart from this earth one day even though they see and hear people dying day after day.
The fact is, the Word of God can not be dwelling in you and you will be misbehaving, doing things that will never please the Holy Spirit. My prayers is that within the short time that the LORD is knocking at the door of our heart and calling us into His fold, shall we not be lost. Amen.
Today, many don't have good spouse, children and family. The reason for this is that in as much you can't truly bring them to the love of God you do not have any of them spiritually.
The WORD of God is missing- can not be found in the heart of many souls likewise in many Churches, as*emblies, Fellowships and Denominations today. Pastors, the word of God to you is to remind you if you have forgotten that you would give account of your as*embly. Also if you have forgotten why you were called, let me remind you from the Matthew 9:37-38 Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; pray therefore the LORD of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest. this is why you were called and chosen.
Being a Christian is a great thing, and the happiest things to happen to me but what is it in your own case. It is better not to be a Christian in as much you do not want to stop sinning and invoke the Word of God into your life. There is no way your wife would be filled with the Word of God and still refusing to submit and subject herself to you the husband because the Word would teach her about marriage. Wives be subject to your husbands, as to the LORD. Ephesians 6:22; To the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children, yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you. Genesis 3:16; Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the LORD. Colossians 3:18 likewise in as much your children lives are filled with the Word of God, they would not be disobeient because the Word dwelling in them would teach them to honor their parents. The Bible says Honour your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God gives you. Exodus 20:12; Honour your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you. Deuteronomy 5:16; For God commanded, 'Honor you father and your mother,' and, 'He who speaks evil of father or mother let him surely die. Matthew 15:4; Ephesians 6:1-3 1. Children, obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right. 2. Honour your father and mother (this is the first commandment with a promise), 3. that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth. likewise, if the Word has a place in your husband's heart, it would reform him teaching him about marriage, about building a beautiful home in the way of God. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Colossians 3:19.
See how many Churches are living a deceitful life style. How the truth is missing in them and in the lives of many who think they are Christians.
'Acts 3:3-5 But Peter said, Ananias, satan has filled your heart. When you claimed this was the full price, you were lying to the Holy Spirit........ How could you do a thing like this? You weren't lying to us, but to God. He who doesn't have the Word of God in his/her life will find it easy to lie and to live volition in sin.
